The test bench allows the acquisition of static and dynamic characteristics of servovalves and proportional valves according to ISO standards. The station for static tests allows, for example, the measurement of flow-command characteristics (voltage or current) at a fixed pressure, the flow–pressure drop curve at a constant command, and the execution of leakage tests. In dynamic tests, the valve under test is mounted on a low-inertia, low-friction actuator, and the frequency response can be determined. The bench is powered by the laboratory's hydraulic power unit using ISO VG46 oil. The test bench is controlled via a PC and an NI data acquisition board.
