Casappa S.p.A., Lemignano di Collecchio (PR), Italy

The first collaboration with Casappa S.p.A. is dated back 2000. The research activity has mainly involved the simulation and the optimization of swash plate axial piston pumps, but also recently the CFD simulation of external gear pumps.

Pierburg Pump Technology S.p.A., Livorno, Italy

Over 10 annual research contracts have been signed by FPRL with Pierburg Pump Technology Italy (formerly Magneti Marelli) since 1997 until 2014. Fields of research have been the modelling, simulation and testing of lubricating pumps for internal combustion engines and brake booster vacuum pumps. This collaboration has produced several international publications.

Duplomatic Motion Solutions, Parabiago (MI), Italy

Research contracts with Duplomatic have involved the development of simulation models of variable displacement vane pumps for industrial applications and hydraulic valves. First contact was signed in 2012 with one international publication.

OMIQ - Simerics

OMIQ srl supplies the CFD software Simerics MP+ (formerly PumpLinx) developed by Simerics, used for the simulation of positive displacement pumps and hydraulic valves. Since 2015, more than 10 papers have been published thanks to this software package.

BSIM Engineering, Torino, Italy

BSIM has been the sponsor of the Simcenter Amesim licences used by the students for the simulation sessions in the course of Automotive Fluid Power Systems (Automotive Engineering).
